Financial settlement from previous job
It has already been over 18 months since I left the organization, having completed all necessary resignation formalities as per the regulations. I have also visited the Head Office on a couple of occasions regarding the settlement of my remaining dues, but the matter is still pending. So what procedure have to follow further
Nepal Lawyer Services Says:
As your dues remain unpaid despite completing resignation formalities and repeated follow-up, you should now submit a formal written demand letter to the employer requesting settlement within a fixed time (such as 7 days). If they still fail to pay, you may file a complaint before the concerned Labour and Employment Office under the Labour Act, 2074 for recovery of unpaid dues and necessary action. If the dispute is not resolved there, you may proceed to the Labour Court as per law.
