Is it allowed for Nepal police to seize others key and enter into their room?

My family owns a small hotel in Ason where we also sale local alcoholic beverages such as chyang, rakshi, tongba. The police came to search our hotel and they also seized our room keys and went upstairs to our room, searched our rooms, and confiscated some of the local beverages. Please reply as soon as possible.
